One of the restaurants that local Thai raved about at the Bang Sue district is located between Soi 33 and 34 of Pracha Chuen Road. Once you are there, you won’t miss this restaurant as it is always crowded. Moo Krop Nai Tai opens early in the morning and close at 2-3pm. If you are going there during lunch hour, be sure to get there early as some of the signature dishes like roasted slice pork (Kao Moo Dang) gets sold out fast.
There are limited number of tables that are always occupied by customers.
Instead of dining in, people are queuing up for takeaway. It is worth the wait as the food is so good and the price is very reasonable.
If you are in a rush, there is another restaurant selling the same thing beside this one and is much less crowded. The trade-off is you won’t get food as good as Moo Krop Nai Tai.
One of the popular specialty rice is the roasted meat rice. The meat is tender and the fat is soft that melts in your mouth. These two dishes with a drink cost less than 100 baht.
This restaurant has been featured in several magazines and newspapers. It is mostly frequented by the locals so if you want to taste the authentic Thai roasted meat, this is one of the places worth trying.
The nearest MRT station to this restaurant is Phahon Yothin, about 3.5km apart. From here, you can take taxi, motorbike taxi or tuk-tuk. Whatever mode of transport that you take, the costs should not be more than 80 baht in smooth traffic.
